I agree with Muse of Void on that one lol, if you say Lord Embodies, then Muse invites embodiment (is that a word?) and horrorterror grimdark embodiment of void anyone? lol
Lord Embodies and Dominates.
Muse Embodies and Inspires.
It’s the best way to explain actions in the comic as well as how they can be opposites and an active/passive pair.
Anonymous asked: Im not sure I get the metaphor with GPS maker but mapmaker seems apt...Wait its been a while but didnt DAVE chart the course through the furthest ring for the tumor or was that rose they had a conversation for that like RIGHT before or after we saw rose and feferi be all squiddly argh this is going to bug me.
I’m not quite sure? It would make sense for them to work together: Dave was a Knight of Time and the physical effects of time travel on the Furthest Ring allow him to help them move, and Rose’s abilities as a Seer of Light would be rather beneficial as well, so I’m going to guess that they probably worked together.
Anonymous asked: Are the outer gods all LORDS of void? I mean to be a lord is to embody your aspect right?
I think they are more symbols than actual actors, or anything. They represent Void but do not actively exert any influence. Maybe a Muse of Void, but more likely just Void.

this is how i see it. Void is nothing, but everything, light is defined, it knowledge, we know it, its a thing, Void is the unknown, but where you draw power is from what meaning you give to it, every void player will give own their unique meaning

Anonymous asked: Does a seer understand their aspect differently than a mage and if so how other than of course actively/passively generally I'm looking for some differences in how they see the world. Using void as a example wouldn't both just seek out all the secrets they can to direct a team?
Both are guided by their Aspect, but in two different ways.
A Seer is a mapmaker, and the Aspect is their tool to make the map. They grow by gaining context, a bigger map, a better idea of what makes up reality. A Mage is a GPS maker. They input instructions, get directions, follow them, and work to improve their GPS maker, so to speak.
While a Mage can still guide and a Seer can still act, it is easy to see how someone who looks for clear, concise directions would be better at acting as opposed to guiding, and how somebody who looks for an overarching view would be better at guiding than acting.
Anonymous asked: Considering Certain Ways Of Explaining Void (such as a related philosophy that Meaning is a Strictly Human Invention) makes it sound incompatible with the Idea of meaning, at least not "Inherent Meaning" as opposed to Self Defined Meaning... Then Would a Theoretical Seer of Void Focus more on Context? -LunarProtege, Mod of Sburb Ponies.
It really depends on the Seer in question. In fact, some Seers of Void would rather argue that there is inherent meaning to the secrets of the Void as opposed to arguing that it lacks meaning in general. Others might indeed reject the idea of “inherent meaning”, but their growth would probably being them back to the concept at some point, as their growth eventually required a measure of Light in themself.
Aspects are broad, and no two people, not even two people with the same title, are the same. It’s up to everyone to interpret and impact reality on their own, and that includes Seers of Void.

very true! plus lol i sent some asks your way XD if im a little overzealous about this please excuse me, i was just already in a very classpecting mood even before this lol
Nah, it’s fine. I’ve read up on all your asks, and they make some very valid points. I’m not quite sure we have enough information to make a perfect Classpect for him yet, but I’m still drifting towards Heir, Bard, or maybe Waste of Void.

i believe you may have tagged it with my url. ^w^
Well played, commentgirl101, well played indeed.

my reason for seer was mostly because he seems to just be granted knowledge about all things and everything and random horror terror (hes totally Void) vibes, and then what does do? Tries to guide everybody else with his knowledge! cont in ask…
Seers are, in general, not magically gathered info. Rather, they use their Aspect as a lens to view the world and gather info through that medium primarily. A Seer grows by gaining context and meaning. Cecil doesn’t seem to really have/need/want that. He just kind of deals with it as it comes and broadcasts it. And while he does guide, it’s generally not the best advice, usually either madness or scripted responses. Not to mention that advice is not the sole property of Seers, but guidance tends to be their purview mainly, and while Cecil gives advice, he doesn’t give guidance.
