can you define your use of “valid", for me?
Acceptable within certain amounts of canon variance.
If there is a canon rule that is irrational (like gendered classes) I will ignore it. However, it makes no sense to have any Aspects beyond the ones that we currently have, so I don’t see it as valid.
I don’t see why that would be dangerous, that would be FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN
That works, but……
I made some fan Master classes…………
And one was King/Queen……….
The 12 Aspects form all of reality. The 14 Classes form 14 concise and simple points that you can move your actions to fit fairly easily. However, while there is room for more Classes, there is NO MORE ROOM for Aspects without dividing the Aspects to be too small to be reasonable. And Hussie has acknowledged this: fan Aspects are not valid.
While this works in theory, my biggest problem is the “One syllable rule". All Class titles are monosyllabic, and it’s hard to think of terms that match quite perfectly without breaking the rule. Very intelligent post, though, thank you!
Ah, but the “One Syllable Rule" only applies to the Classes that have thus far been revealed. Unless I missed Hussie confirming otherwise?
Also, if you translate the words into other languages (IE Magister becomes Meister), you could probably solve that problem.
No, he has most definitely confirmed the One Syllable Rule, as well as putting the ban hammer on fan-Aspects.
Hoever, the translation might be possible. I’m still looking for english-based substitutes.
That’s a fair conclusion, but Classpect isn’t just about mythology, and just because our own system has got it’s patriarchal head up it’s ass doesn’t mean Sburb isn’t more open-minded. I refuse to believe that it would sacrifice accuracy in Classpecting somebody to cater to our mythological needs.
