Hey! Do you like homestuck? Do you like theater? Do you like fanadventures, ask blogs and feralstuck? Do you like stories that focus on female characters? If so, you might be interested in knowing that I’m interested in starting a Ask-Theaterstuck-Jade ask blog!
But I can’t take on a project like this all by myself. So I’m going to need help. I’m looking for artists, writers, and technologically skilled persons!
How to be an artist for theaterstuck:
- Your art needs to have two components to be considered: it must have a consistent style, and you have to be able to draw fairly quickly. I’m not going to ask for a picture every hour, but if drawing a figure will take you a 4+ days, that’s probably not going to work for an ask blog.
- Submit your art to me and make sure you let me know what part you’re hoping to get. The open parts are: background adventure artist, figure adventure artist, background ask artist, and figure ask artist. You can decide to do more than one, or even all four, but that might take more effort than you’re willing to put in. After all, we all have busy schedules.
How to be a writer for theaterstuck:
- Submit a sample of your writing to me. I will be looking for three key things: good or excellent understanding of a variety of characters’s personalities/depths, proper grammar, and consistent tense/voice.
- Writers will be asked to either answer questions or take part in the plot of the story. You can specify which part you want, or if you want to do both, that’s fine as well.
- Let me know what type of schedule you have, and an estimate of how much time you can put into this project per week. A very tight schedule will not effect anything, I just need to know so that I can figure out how many writers I will need.

How the blog will work:
There will be two parts to the blog: the fanadventure, and the asks. The story will take place in parts. I have already have the first part planned myself. The story will consist of pictures and pesterlogs, and work in the same way as Promstuck and other fanadventures do. Each part of the story will work as its own individual story, sort of like episodes for a tv show. Writers will get to decide what stories they want to write. The asks will be the main focus, and will take place in between the release of one story and the brainstorming of the next. The asks can help determine what the next story will be by determining what aspects of theaterstuck people want to focus on the most.

I have more of less determined the ships that I want to be a part of theaterstuck. Some of them are definite, and some of them are still up for debate, if there is a certain ship that you just CANNOT STAND.
