If you’re against minimum wage increase you should:

- consider living on minimum wage for a day with a full blown family.
- consider the fact that simple shit like college tuition is increasing, interest rates for student loans doubled, and more students are unable to attend college for that reason.
- ask how are people supposed to get a college education if it is becoming more expensive and we don’t have the funds to cover it?

Visit this website and choose your state (you will be shown minimum wage). Let’s take me for example, I live in Texas so my minimum wage should be $7.25

Multiply the rate by 40. Usually full time workers work 40 hours. For me, this came out to $290 a week
Whatever your result is, multiply that by 4 (since there are 4 weeks in a month). My result came out to $1,160.

Go to craigslist.com and go to the apartments section. You can visit any other website as well, doesn’t have to be craigslist, it could be apartments.com or whatever.
Try to look for the most inexpensive apartment you can find (typing in STUDIO will probably help).

This is the part where we start subtracting! Now subtract the apartment rent, electricity, internet, monthly cell phone service, gasoline for car, insurance, food, netflix subscription etc.

The next part is fun when you realize that your checks get taxed to hell.
