Infinity Whale: Did Gamzee kill anyone besides Equius and Nepeta?
Loree: He may have been indirectly involved in the deaths of Calliope and Vriska
Infinity Whale: How so?
Loree: Well with Vriska he narrowed Terezi's powers of sight so that she only saw a couple of options, so with her narrowed vision, Terezi chose to kill Vriska. And Gamzee also inked out some parts of Calliope's book, perhaps some information that would have saved her. The second is more of a theory
Infinity Whale: I can see the second, but what method did he use to achieve the first?
Loree: I'm not sure. My friend told me that Doc Scratch told Gamzee to use his powers on Terezi to make that happen, but I don't remember that happening. I'll have to go back and reread
Infinity Whale: If you do, that would be interesting, because nobody ever just uses Rage powers, just like John didn't even really JUST use Breath powers, he conducted it through a physical medium. (Heh, pun.)
Loree: Hmm alright
Infinity Whale: Even the most direct application of Rage powers was channeled through the chucklevoodoos, a form of psionics not yet seen.
Infinity Whale: But previously mentioned.
Loree: Yeah that's true
Infinity Whale: Other than that, most powers are usually used with items, like the timetables, the wands, weapons, or psionics.
Loree: What about Jade's space thing?
Infinity Whale: If you'll recall, Space is ONLY dealing with physical mediums. No random blasts of powers, she simply selects the medium and changes it at will. She resizes objects, morphs speeds, but not waves of "Spacey magic". Furthermore, a lot of her power boost comes from Bec if you'll recall.
Loree: Oh that's right
Infinity Whale: The point about it, though, is that Andrew does this to de-emphasize the power part of the Aspect. Its not about the powers, its about the people holding them and the Aspects, and how they grow.
Loree: That actually makes a lot of sense
Infinity Whale: Mhm. Also note the whole thing where Terezi was even questioning the existence of "Mindy powers".
Loree: I really have to go back and reread
Infinity Whale: I guess. :\
Infinity Whale: I mean, maybe I've just thought about this too much.
